dan le sac and TYTHE battle it out at the Bloomsbury Lanes on December 20th!
Following dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip‘s recent success with their third LP ‘Repent Replenish Repeat‘ which charted at an amazing 22 in the Official Album Charts in its first week of release, dan le sac is starting his own night at the Bloomsbury Lanes just off Russell Square and Holborn.
The concept between dan le sac‘s night is simple, with each party the ‘Battle Bowl’ will put a range of talented DJs head to head, one champion per battle, survival of the fittest! The first event on December 20th will feature six DJs including a battle between two artists off the Sunday Best roster.
First up, in the red corner, will be dan le sac himself showcasing his skills behind the decks and flying solo without his usual partner in crime Scroobius Pip. Then, in the blue corner, will be Julian Peck aka TYTHE. His DJ sets at both the Wishing Tree at Bestival and our famous Sunday Best parties have gone down an absolute storm, so we’re sure that this is a battle not to miss!
Further battles will take place between DJ Destruction, previous finalist in the UK DMC championships and Buddy Peace of Strange Famous Records; then finally Tom Bellamy who is currently collaborating with XFM’s Eddy Temple-Morris will go head to head with Paul Mullen, best known for being lead vocalist in YourCodeNameIs:Milo.
