Riddim Punks

The philosophy behind the Riddim Punks sound is Jamaican Dancehall meets UK Drum & Bass. Hailing from Bristol, the capital of the UK’s bass culture movement and a place entrenched with Drum & Bass heritage, Riddim Punks dropped a bomb on the DNB scene with their debut single “Sell My Gun” featuring Jamaican superstar Chronixx. Originally sent out to a select few djs as an unofficial VIP, it soon got over 15 plays on BBC Radio 1xtra and Radio 1 from the likes of Toddla T, DJ Target, & Friction. The track was signed to Nice Up! Records and became an official release with new guest vocals from UK Grime heavyweight P Money. A limited edition vinyl run was pressed, and the record quickly hit the No.1 spot in the Juno Records DNB chart, firmly establishing the punks on the DNB scene.

Since the first single release, the punks have dropped their debut album featuring collabs with some of the Reggae and DNB’s finest artists such as MC Navigator, Eva Lazarus, Ragga Twins, Exco Levi, Gold Dubs, Cheshire Cat, Rider Shafique, Shumba Youth and King Ali Baba. Support has come from Rene Lavice, Mistajam, David Rodigan, Don Letts, Steve Lemacq, Nicky Blackmarket, Benny Page, Hybrid Minds on BBC Radio 1, 1xtra, Kiss FM, Kool London + many more.

Prosper & Stabfinger

Nicolas Atlan (Aka Lumiere Binome StabFinger) started music at a young age by first learning he piano and then almost every instrumment he can get his hands on It was in 2004 that Nicolas launched his “STABFINGER” project for the opening of the Crookers’ “Animal Tour”. “STABFINGER” is intended as an electronic and eclectic project which has the sole ambition of

creating a dancing sound by undermining any form of musical barrier: from Funk to House, from Break to Swing, from Cumbia to DrumN’Bass… His overflowing creativity allows him to expermiment while keeping his own identity. He is doing more and more collaborations, but it was in 2014 that he fell on the troublemaker of the turntables: Prosper (Dj) ! From that point PROSPER & STABFINGER will mistreat the Funk with loud blows of whirring bass and racy Beats! The label that has signed exclusively PROSPER & STABFINGER is BombStrikes (ultimate reference for Breakbeat / Bass Music in UK: A-Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Mooqee, Beatvandals, Basement Freaks, The Allergies, Shaka Loves You, Ali B …). And in less than ten E.p’s (collaborations with renowned musicians and vocalists like: Too Many T’s, Ashley Slater, Georges Perrin, Lions Pride, Everyman, Awoke, K-Mi…) The duo has conquered the public and the set lists of the biggest producers of the planetary groove. If you follow these two Frenchies they will make you dance without rest !!!
